The photocatalytic properties of titanium dioxide are well known and have many applications including removal of organic contaminants, odours, fumes, viruses, bacteria and microorganisms. There’s an increased interest in the photocatalytic properties of TiO2 for air sanitation and purification.
The photocatalysis system and UV-A LEDs proved effective in tests on SARS-CoV-2 (covid 19).
After 30 minutes it reduces the viral load by 99.998%.
Our collaboration with various research institutions and specialized laboratories has allowed the sanitization process to be optimised over a short period of time ensuring optimal results.
