UV technology, if applied to lamps, can be very useful in different fields, and is used differently depending on intensity and wavelength (UV-A, UV-B, UV-C). In particular, it can be highly effective in reducing the amount of bacteria, the virulence of harmful organisms and the presence of pathogens, in addition to breaking down volatile organic compounds (VOC), resulting in the minimisation of foul odours in general.
